Shipping and Handling

Please understand we strive to keep our shipping costs low, and typically charge based on the total price of your order.

STANDARD SHIPPING (Continental US)

Orders up to $49.99 - shipping $6.00

Orders $50.00 to $149.99 - shipping $8.00

Orders $150.00 and over - FREE SHIPPING, except as noted below!

Exceptionally large or heavy items, as well as shipments to Alaska and Hawaii, cost more to ship. Although we are willing to share that cost with you, we simply can not absorb it - we will inform you of any additional charges before processing your order. INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS. We do not accept foreign orders other than from Canada at this time. Shipments to Canada are not covered under our standard or Free shipping offers. We will contact you in advance for your approval on shipping charges.

Delivery Time: Please understand that we are a multi-line powersports dealer, and we do stock a lot of parts and accessories. We are not a warehouse, however, and we may need to get your items from our suppliers or manufacturers. We place orders every day, and most parts arrive here in less than 3 days - we typically ship them back out the same day that all of your items have been received. Please Allow 4-10 business days for delivery of non-backordered items in the continental US. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. Oversize items will typically take longer.


Returns and Exchanges

General: All returns must be postmarked no later than 15 days from the original customer shipment date. Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and original packing material. Customer pays all return shipping charges. There are no returns on electrical or fuel system parts, helmets, or any parts or clothing deemed unacceptable for resale. Include a copy of your packing list with all returns.

Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Returns must be preauthorized by us and are subject to a minimum of $5.00 or a 15% re-stocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited to the original credit card or Paypal account.

Incorrect Item: If you received an incorrect item due to an error on our part, no extra charges will be incurred. We will replace incorrect items and pay the additional shipping charge.

Incorrect Size: No charge for exchange. We will exchange customer orders that do not fit, if the customer requests the same item in a different size. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Return Shipping Instructions: Insure shipment for full value of purchase. Use original packaging. We are not responsible for packages lost or damaged during return shipping.

Return/Exchange Instructions: Enclose a copy of your packing list or E-mail Invoice along with detailed return/exchange instructions. Send exchanges and returns to Preferred Powersports, 8932 Brewerton Road, Brewerton NY 13029. Be sure your RMA number is on the outside of the package.


Sales Tax

Sales tax is charged on instate orders as required by law.


Payment Methods

Payments are accepted via our secure online order form. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards are accepted, as well as Paypal. All Credit card purchases are verified for your protection.


Backordered Items

Backorders: If an item is backordered beyond 7 days, we will notify you via phone and/or e-mail and offer options. Filling backorders: Backorders will be filled before new orders when the backordered items become available.


Policies

Individual product descriptions are claims of the manufacturer and/or distributor and can not be guaranteed accurate. We strive to maintain accurate and current pricing, but errors can and do occur. We are not obligated to honor prices posted on the website if an error occured or pricing has changed since the system was updated.
