Shipping and Handling Please understand we strive to keep our shipping costs low, and typically charge based on the total price of your order. STANDARD SHIPPING (Continental US ONLY) Orders up to $49.99 - shipping $6.95 Orders $50.00 to $99.99 - shipping $8.95 Orders $100.00 to 149.99 - shipping $9.95 Orders $150.00 and over - FREE SHIPPING, except as noted below! Exceptionally large or heavy items, as well as shipments to Alaska and Hawaii will have a surcharge added. Minimum shipping charge to Alaska and Hawaii $20.00US. While we are willing to share in the cost to ship, we can not absorb all of the burden. We will contact you with a shipping quote if we can not meet our standard shipping rate policy, and will need your approval before shipping. Freight shipping to a commercial address is always less than shipping to a residential address, so please keep that in mind as an option when we contact you. CANADA SHIPMENTS. Shipments to Canada are not covered under our standard or Free shipping offers. Unless otherwise requested, we ship via US Postal Service into Canada. If you prefer a trackable solution, we can ship via UPS, however you will be responsible for brokerage and/or duty fees set by UPS and the Canadian Government. We DO NOT accept returns based on these fees. Minimum shipping charge to Canada is $20.00US. Please advise in the notes field if you prefer to use UPS. During the holiday times, there can be substantial delays into Canada, so please order early. Delivery Time: Please understand that we are a multi-line powersports dealer, and we do stock a lot of parts and accessories. We are not a warehouse, however, and we may need to get your items from our suppliers or manufacturers. We place orders every day, and most parts arrive here in 2-5 days (depending on the supplier) - we typically ship them back out via UPS or USPS the day after all of your items have been received. Please Allow 5-10 business days for delivery of non-backordered items in the continental US. Allow additional time for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada. Oversize items will typically take longer. |
Returns: Contact us first for an RMA (Return Material Authorization) Number. All returns must be returned no later than 15 days from the original customer shipment date. Returns and exchanges must be in new condition and must include all instructions and original packing material. Customer pays all return shipping charges. There are no returns on electrical or fuel system parts, helmets, decals, or any parts or clothing deemed unacceptable for resale. Include a copy of your packing list with all returns, and make sure your RMA Number is clearly printed on the outside of the package. Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. All returns are subject to a minimum 30% re-stocking fee. These amounts will be deducted from the original amount billed and the remaining balance will be credited to the original credit card or Paypal account. Order Cancellations: Once you have placed an order, items are pulled from stock or ordered from our vendors immediately. For this reason, an order cancellation charge of 30% will apply to cover our costs of returning items to stock or the vendors even if item has not shipped. Incorrect Item: If you received an incorrect item due to an error on our part, no extra charges will be incurred. Notify us immediately, and make arrangements to ship the product back to us right away. Incorrect Clothing Size: No charge for exchange within 12 days. We will exchange customer orders that do not fit only if the customer requests the same item in a different size. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Return/Exchange Instructions: Enclose a copy of your packing list or E-mail Invoice along with detailed return/exchange instructions. Send exchanges and returns to Preferred Powersports, 8932 Brewerton Road, Brewerton NY 13029. Be sure your RMA number is on the outside of the package. Packages without RMA numbers will not be processed. Please insure your packages, we can not be responsible for damage caused in transit. RMA must be returned within 12 days from receiving the RMA #. Packages without RMA # 's will be refused. |

If an item is backordered beyond 10 days, we will notify you via phone and/or e-mail and offer alternatives. We typically check with our suppliers to get realistic estimates of backorders, however sometimes they are not able to fill orders as expected. Please understand that we will make every effort to get them to expedite your items, however this is typically out of our control. |
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Preferred Powersports shall have the option to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Preferred Powersports shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated on your orders, and to personalize your shopping experience. Although we hope you will continue to receive them, you may unsubscribe from our newsletters by following the unsubscribe instructions in any email you receive from us. Order Acceptance Policy Once you place an order with Preferred Powersports, an order confirmation will be automatically generated and e-mailed to you. This receipt does not guarantee acceptance of your order or product availability. We will contact you via phone or e-mail if we are not able to fully process or fulfill your order. Most of the times, something simple is keeping us from fully processing the order and we just need to speak with you.
Multiple Product Orders Normally, to keep our shipping costs low and simplify tracking of packages, we ship all items together. In the case of large items, each may have it's own separate tracking number. If there are items that won't come available for more than 10 days, we will normally split your order and ship the backordered item(s) when they come available. In all likelyhood, we will contact you to discuss options if there is anything out of the ordinary.
